A coalition of Des Moines organizations calling for a ceasefire in Palestine held a rally at Cowles Commons in downtown Des Moines on Sunday, November 5, 2023.
Des Moines WILPF members joined members of the Middle East Peace Education Coalition, the Party for Socialism and Liberation, the Des Moines Black Liberation Movement, and the Catholic Peace Ministry in calling for the United States to demand a ceasefire in Israel’s war against the people of Palestine.
