Ottumwa Say No to Coal Teach-in

Buffalo Rebellion is visiting communities with coal plants across Iowa to grow our movement demanding an end to fossil fuels and a just transition to a 100% clean energy system. Their next stop is in Ottumwa, which is just south of a coal plant co-owned by MidAmerican and Alliant Energy on the Des Moines River.
Join them for a free dinner from Pupuseria Juanita’s Restaurant and to discuss the:
- negative impacts of local coal plants,
- benefits of transitioning to clean energy, and
- ways we can take action to reverse the climate crisis while uplifting our communities.
